"Good Kitty."

The first thing to consider with this deck is the companion card, "Lurrus of The Dream Den". This little lap cat says that every permanent card in the deck must be under 3 CMC. However, he bestows you the ability to cast any permanent in your graveyard once per each of your turns.
While companions can be costly to get in play (you must pay 3 colorless to put it in hand and then another 3 mana to pay Lurrus' cost), the deck is embedded with some of the best white revival spells (Raise the Past and Sevinne's Reclamation) that will allow you to make sure that you can keep Lurrus alive and well to scrounge through your trash.
"You'll Wish You Weren't Invited.."

Sorin of House Markov is a unique commander with a lot of text on him for 2 mana (1B). The main attraction here is the second word on the card, "Extort". Extort allows you to pay either 1 black or 1 white mana whenever you cast a spell to drain your opponents for 1 life and gain life equal to the amount lost. With the plethora of low cost creatures and removal spells, you will easily find yourself exploiting almost every cast, gaining a hefty life advantage and board presence before turn 4.
"You've Overstayed Your Welcome!"

After gaining 3 or more life before your second main phase, you may transform him into a Planeswalker that will cause repeated issues for your opponents threat assessment and their ability to keep their creatures from being eaten by Sorin.
If they swing at Sorin; block with your creatures, which will gain you life or draw you cards or both - and if they swing at your face; keep your loyalty counters ready to steal their creatures!
Light the Candles, Set the Mood
Combined with the Extort mechanic, Ripples of Undeath is essentially a surveil 3, draw 1 at the beginning of your precombat main phase for a whopping 2 cmc.
Bloodchief Ascension is an absolutely insane value repeatable drain for 1 Black mana. Can't go wrong with either of these. Fast-paced mono-black good stuff.
The Life of the Party
Keen Duelist makes for a fun Dark Confidant alternative; target a landfall or Green mana player for a very favorable trade. Most people run a primarily < 3 CMC deck, so the odds are good you will heal the damage back anyways!
Metastatic Evangel allows you to either steal your opponents creatures faster with Sorin's ultimate or enable you to go up in loyalty points while feasting on your foes with his -1 counter ability.
DINNER PARTY [GONE WRONG] [GONE NUCLEAR]
Two absolutely ruthless mass removal cards. Nuclear fallout cares not for opponents indestructibles and mills everyone to boot! Doomsday confluence can help pull some tempo your way, forcing your opponents to sacrifice creatures or discard cards.
"You Don't Have to Go Home, But You Can't Stay Here"
Draw your way to the finish line with big ol' Approach of the Second Sun breakfast, or casually gain 20 life with Heliod's Intervention and even the score with a huge bite from Sorin.
**I created this deck as an alternative way to play Orzhov that wasn't so reliant on aristocrat strategies.
It quickly became one of my favorites, and I hope you all can find some love for its playstyle as well.
